Cancer research at VMRC focuses on novel multifunctional approaches like DPPC (Drug-protein Polymer Conjugate) and target based nanotechnologies like STN (Stealth Targeted Nanodelivery) with an aim to deliver efficiently, targeted drug delivery with least systemic toxicity, when the dose is delivered within therapeutic window, which reduces frequent administrations leading to significant cost reduction in the future.
