Traditional yet reliable herbal branches like Ayurveda, Siddha & Unani are losing faith due to emergency for a new type of diseases due to unhealthy modern lifestyle habits. So in present scenario doing research on the plant for their medicinal potential, from the isolation of novel pure active compound to establish its pharmacological or biological activity and ultimately to formulation is the need of the time. Potentiating our herbal drug with phytoactives and formulating NDDS will decrease dose size & increase the efficacy of our formulation.
