Presently, our laboratory aims to explore the different mechanisms to combat antimicrobial resistance. Specially, we study the expression of resistant genes acquired by multidrug-resistant bacteria such as extended-spectrum beta-lactamases, Metallo-beta-lactamases, serine carbapenems and activation of efflux genes, the complexes influence the biofilm production. Hence, our main goal is to study that how gene expression is regulating the bacterial pathogenesis against antimicrobials and how the similar gene expression can be targeted to prevent resistance mechanism which can lead to the new drug formulations with improved antimicrobial activities.

My research program focuses on the understanding of anticancer immunotherapy by modulating immune system responses to improve clinical outcomes. My major interest involves how cells function at the molecular level which is becoming increasingly important for understanding the cellular basis of diseases and their treatments.
